Review: I ordered from this florist in an attempt to support a local business for a special anniversary. As reviews were so high I expected nothing but the best customer service and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Admittedly, I misheard the collection address for the flower pick up but was happy to pay for delivery instead as it was clear this had been a miscommunication, the florist kindly offered delivery for free which was later thrown back in my face.
Not only were they rude on the phone when arranging this delivery, the flowers arrived hours after promised. When calling the shop to ask where the flowers were, both myself and my girlfriend were met with attitude when the lady had responded with, ‘I’m not the driver how am I meant to know’.
That would have been bad enough, however less than four days after they had arrived the flowers were dead. I contacted the shop yet again and was told to send an email, I sent this email immediately after our phone call and did not hear back for three days. Too scared to phone again as the attitude from the ladies was daunting, I got my brother to phone. They informed him that due to Mothers’ Day they would not get back to me until after the weekend. I had no confirmation email or anything to say they had recieved my email.
On Monday I had reached my limit, I phoned the shop AGAIN and expressed my disappointment. I was again met with rudeness, it was thrown in my face that I had already had my delivery for free and insinuated that I had NOT kept my flowers in water (after I had told her numerous amounts of times that I know how to care for flowers and I am not an idiot so would of course have kept the flowers in water).
The lady then went on to hang up on me, which of course I phoned back and I was not a happy bunny, when asking why she hung up with a laugh in her voice she said the signal must be bad. She had told me, ‘we have so many great reviews, we send out the same bunch, why is it you are the only customer complaining’ which I responded with confusion as to how they have so many great reviews when their service is so poor.
She asked how I would like to resolve this issue and I explained, I would either like another bunch sent out or for my money back, at this stage I would’ve rather got my money back as I was raging but after asking me the question of what I would like to do, she went on to say yet again, that the reason the flowers were dead was because I had not kept them in water.
I will not be making the same mistake again ordering from this business and I would advice others to not make the same mistake.
There are plenty of other small businesses who are worth the general publics support.

Attached below are some images of the flowers, perhaps it is clear to see where the misunderstanding had come from with the flowers being kept out of water, but anyone with common sense would understand that this is a photo of the flowers on the way to the bin. The flowers that remain in the vase you can clearly see are still semi alive but the ones in my hands are extremely dead.
