Review: If I could give zero stars I would! The Mother’s Day bouquet I ordered for my mum was awful and the customer service received was shocking. The flowers were delivered and left on my mum’s door step without any water. No note was put through the door, no text or email sent to confirm delivery. My mum was recovering from skin cancer surgery so didn’t leave the house or open her front door until approximately 18hrs later to discover the flowers on her doorstep. They had wilted by then and looked awful. My mum, who has had some florist training, felt that regardless of the lack of water, the flowers were generally poor and looked like the last dregs of stock left. The quantity of flowers for £30 was also questionable. My mum contacted Charlotte to complain and was met with an aggressive Charlotte who kept going on about how busy she was, how hard she worked and that my mum should put the flowers in water and they would recover. She then slammed the phone down on my mum.
I then sent several messages trying to resolve the issue. Again the replies from Charlotte were extremely aggressive. She offered a replacement bouquet, but I asked for a refund. This was refused.
I then pointed out to Charlotte that the bouquet looked nothing like the picture on her website and contained no tulips at all (it also looked sparce of flowers for the £30 I paid). She then admitted that the wrong style of bouquet was delivered. No apology still! She did offer a refund at this point, but it was too little too late and I suggested that she donate the refund to charity.
A dreadful experience and I will never use Charlotte again. I bought a rescue bouquet from M&S for £13 which was beautiful and represented much better value for money.
